Axl fits pretty well into the punk rock persona so he can be found in tattered skinny jeans with t-shirts and combat boots. He likes to wear dark pants with rips, and adorn them with sharpie and multitudes of belts. His favorite shirts are band tees with violent images decorating the front and sleeves. He wears little jewelry but likes rings with symbols on them. He currently has one with a dragon and one with a marijuana leaf on it.

He wears large clunky combat boots with black and green laces. When he’s not in the mood to wear those shoes, he wears black converse. His tongue and right eyebrow are both pierced. He also has stitches tattooed onto his neck and back as well as his arms covered in various images. Normally, the tattoos are whatever strikes his fancy at the time.

Personality:

Axl is a pretty friendly guy and loves making friends with almost anyone. He’s not very cautious and can get himself into trouble a lot. He’s very sarcastic and easily amused although most people like him through first impression. It has been said his appearance doesn’t match his personality because he is too bubbly.

He has a fascination with blood and gore, often incorporating those elements into his comic books. Another interest of his is death. He believes in an afterlife though he isn’t sure what to make of it yet. He’s a wild partier and can hold his booze very well. He’s also a smoker and has been since he was twenty and in college. When it comes to girls, he’s confidant and a lady’s man. After he’s got them in bed he normally hits the road. He isn’t the type for stable relationships. His motto would be live life to the fullest if he had to choose. And to go out with a bang…

History:

Axl Harrison Ross was born in Victoria, Australia on October 28th, 1987. His parent’s relationship didn’t last very long and he was left being raised by his mother Aurelia. They lived in a shabby little cottage for a while since they were short on money. When Corbin left he took all of their money. Unaware even in the present, Aurelia had to engage in prostitution to keep her son and her afloat.

When Axl was in middle school a close friend of his named Derek introduced him to a local comic book shop. There he discovered the horror section and quickly became engrossed with it. He read through every single book and soon decided to he wanted to write the books himself. He began teaching himself how to draw during his elementary through middle school days and soon became pretty adept at it. He told his mother he wished to go to San Francisco for school and she supported him. He was able to get an art scholarship to pay for some of the costs.

His teenage years transformed him into the punk rock image he still has. In high school he lost touch with Derek and drifted away from his few friends. The world of comic book horror was to addicting to let him do anything else. Arriving in California, he found college life suited him well. He made a few girlfriends who all gave him the name Axie that he still hates. He broke things off with them one by one leaving a steady trail of tears behind. He succeeded in school and scored a job as a bartender at Midnight Thirst. During his workdays, he found himself being drawn to customers of the male gender.

Much to his disapproval, he decided that he was bisexual. He quickly got over it and hasn’t looked back since. His comic book days haven’t progressed much but he is looking for an internship to get him started. Any comic company will do he tells himself.

After graduating from his courses at the college, he found himself a quaint little apartment it is in a relatively bad neighborhood and he had almost gotten mugged several times. However, the place is home and he has no intention of leaving. Axl has one pet that lives in the apartment with him. It’s a small corn snake named Drake. It’s yellow and red striped and four years old. He’s also been featured in some of Axl’s demo comics. Lately, the bartender had been looking for another snake to add to his household. Reptiles are his favorite species because of their fangs and venom. It all fits in with his fascination of death and violence.

Relation Overview:

Axl has two currently alive parents. His mother Aurelia lives in Australia her home country. She currently is residing in Victoria. She loves her son very much but worries about him in the big city by himself. She calls him often and they have a good relationship. His father, Corbin lives in Victoria as well although he and Aurelia are divorced. They split after a quick five years of marriage because he cheated on her. Aurelia was left to raise Axl by herself. She managed and Axl left to the Americas to go to a community college to study art. Both he and his mother are tight on money.
