| The Parol Residence
The white colored, two-story house exhibits many characteristics of the Queen Anne style. It features a wrap-around porch distinguished by oar-shaped beams, a hipped roof, and corbeled chimneys. There are three-sided bays at the front and east sides of the building.

Cold Creek Cemetary is a common gathering place for the vampires. It is surrounded by a pine forest which hides the dens dug into the ground. The cemetery is old and has many ancient gravestones. The creek runs along one side, just outside the wrought iron fence.

The alleyways are a common hunting ground for the city vampires and hybrids. They hide in the shadows and wait for humans to walk by. There has been a mysterious decrease in the homeless population...

| Cafe
Modern vampires and hybrids frequent the cafe in search of victims. They are easily able to convince humans of their mortality and often charm the humans into leaving with them.

| Nocturnal Gardens
These gardens look their best at night when the moon reflects off the water of the pond and the fountain in the center of the cobblestone square. Tall willows provide shade while the grass is soft, eliminating the need for a bench. Humans are relatively safe here because something about the gardens repels vampires and hybrids.

| Blood Reign
Blood Reign is a night club on the west end of the alleyways. Vampires find most of their victims in places like this. The music is loud enough to be heard a block away and it is only open at night. Sordid activities occur here and nobody pays any mind. People who pry often go missing by morning. It is rumored to be run by a vampire who pays the police well to ignore what happens here.

| Cirque du Grotesque
The Cirque du Grotesque is a permanent carnival on the edge of town. The ringleader is a member of the undead, and so are many of the performers. They put on their shows at night, with frightening displays of strange talents and horrifying stunts.

| The Academy (4 sub-boards)
The school system of the area is known only as The Academy. It is a prestigious school system with a dark side. Students who are known vampires or hybrids attend the school also, although in a slightly altered fashion. They arrive for classes before sunrise and have class in the underground half of the school. This half is a mirror image replication of the normal half other than the absence of windows.

| Zelda's Rare Books
This book shop is fashioned in antiquity. It has many rare books as well as newer ones. Oddly enough, it's always open. It has a reading area by the fire and is a large store.

| Black Hill Forest
The forest is named after the black dirt that makes up its hills. The hills are covered in black pine trees and are made of stone beneath the dirt. The forest is dark since the light rarely gets through. The more sophisticated vampires and hybrids often use it as a meeting place to avoid encroaching upon one another's territory.

| Coldwater Swamp
Coldwater Swamp is a land of mud and cold. Trees tangle their branches together and root themselves deeply in the muck creating a labyrinth out of themselves. The swamp gets very cold at night, freezing humans to death in its icy waters. The less refined vampires and hybrids congregate here.
